This is a sample itinerary. The order of the itinerary may change depending on the day, weather, etc.
You will be picked up from your hotel in San Sebastian in the morning for an interesting day in Basque Country filled with new experiences. The first stop of your tour will be in the town of Zumaia, where you will have the chance to explore the spectacular Flysch Route. The Flysch cliffs have a history that dates back more than 60 million years and an impressive coastline of great geological interest. You are sure to be amazed by the beauty of the natural environment surrounding you. Today its beauty has become famous thanks to its appearance in Game of Thrones.
Next, you will continue your tour to Getaria and visit a local txakoli-producing winery. Txakoli is the typical white wine of the Basque Country whose vineyards are located near the coast and planted on a slope. The views from the vineyards looking out to the Cantabrian Sea are breathtaking. The visit of the winery will last 1 to 1.5 hours during which you will tour the facilities and learn about the txakoli wine-making process. At the end of your winery tour, you will taste wines of the winery and local products of the sea.
After this visit, you will make your way to the town of Getaria. There, you will be able to explore this charming fishing village and its colorful port. Enjoy a delicious meal at one of Getaria’s famous grill restaurants before heading back to your hotel in San Sebastian with your guide.

We are happy to listen to your preferences but please bear in mind that some wines are great, but the wineries not worth visiting. Please bear also in mind that some wineries do not accept visits or are not available on many days. Lastly, visiting certain wineries may imply a huge detour. The local team is expert in Rioja and will ensure your tour includes amazing wineries.
