You will be picked up from your hotel in Bilbao in the morning (typically at 09:00) for a fantastic day in Rioja wine country. Accompanied by your English-speaking tour guide, you will visit 3 excellent wineries in the wine region and taste their high-quality wines. The day will normally start with a short at a Riojan village, with narrow cobbled streets and a good way to enjoy the views of Rioja’s vineyards
At the first winery, you will get to see the different areas of the winery led by an English-speaking guide and receive explanations of the winemaking process. On the tour, while you get from one winery to the next, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the extensive vineyard landscapes of Rioja and will also learn about the way wine is produced in this world-famous wine region. Lunch for the day will be set in another fantastic riojan village where you will enjoy a traditional Riojan lunch complete with wine.
After a fantastic local lunch and a complete day of wine, food, and new sites, you will make your way back to Bilbao and be dropped off at your hotel.
