On this half-day trip, we’ll take you to explore Montserrat — a mountain that’s not only stunning, but also really meaningful to those of us who live near Barcelona. With its dramatic views and peaceful atmosphere, it’s easy to see why it’s such a beloved spot. After that, we’ll head to a small, family-run winery tucked away in the Catalan countryside. There, you’ll stroll through the vineyards, learn how their wines are made, and enjoy a relaxed tasting with a few local tapas. It’s a great way to spend your morning — beautiful views, good wine, and a real taste of local life. We keep the groups small (up to 20 people per guide), so everything feels personal and unhurried.

Montserrat is located 50 kilometers from Barcelona. It is a 1,225 meters high mountain, with a mysterious and beautiful shape.
After Santiago de Compostela and El Camino, Montserrat is the second most important pilgrmigae center in Spain. The Monastery was founded in 1025. Shepherds had a vision, they followed it and the Black Virgin, “La Monereta” was discovered. The Monastery of Montserrat was built to commemorate that vision. La Monereta or Black Madonna is Catalonia´s patron since 1881.
The Monastery and its Basilica is one of Spain´s top visited attractions- You can learn more about the history of Montserrat in this link with interesting facts about the monastery, la Monereta, and its connection with Catalan and Spanish culture.
