The Church of Santa María de los Reyes, the tenth century, was perhaps a Templar Monastery. It is another attraction of Laguardia. It is also worth to visit the church of Santa María de Berberana, with its Romanesque chapel which is the only one in La Rioja with a square apse. Something we cannot of course forget about and which also deserves a visit are the local wineries. Laguardia itself is a large underground cellar. Some of the cellars of the Houses and mansions can be visited today (either as a restaurant, or even because they still age wine). The surrondings of Laguardia offer beautiful scenery of vineyards. We recommend the road from Laguardia to Lapuebla de la Barca, though there are many more with a high interest for those who love a landscape full of vineyards.

The wineries and local wine are of great quality. The local cuisine of Laguardia is high quality. The city also offers a number of restaurants to eat at reasonable prices with quality products. Taverns with pintxos and a good selection of local food stores and wine shops logical
