Why with us and Terms
- What is the maximum group size?
Our tours are designed for small groups, with a maximum of 16 participants. This limited capacity helps ensure a more intimate experience, a relaxed pace, and a more personalised service throughout the journey. - When should I book? Due to the restricted number of places available, we strongly advise booking as early as possible to secure your spot. Departures are expected to reach full capacity well in advance.
- Is the departure guaranteed? Each departure is planned with care to deliver the best experience possible. A minimum number of participants is required for the tour to operate. If this minimum is not reached, guests will be informed ahead of time and offered either alternative dates or a full refund.
- Should I arrive before the tour starts? It is not mandatory, although we recommend arriving in Bilbao at least one day prior to the start of the tour. This allows extra flexibility in case of travel delays and helps you begin the experience in a more relaxed way. We can also assist with pre-tour accommodation arrangements if needed.
- Can I extend my stay after the tour? Yes, absolutely. Since the itinerary concludes in Bordeaux, many travellers choose to stay longer to explore the city. We are happy to help with hotel suggestions or additional arrangements to extend your visit.
- How physically demanding is the tour? The tour is suitable for travellers with a normal level of fitness and mobility. Most activities consist of easy walking through towns, coastal areas, or vineyards. Only two parts of the itinerary require a moderate effort: the visit to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe and the walk at the Dune du Pilat, both involving stairs, inclines or sandy terrain. Guests who prefer not to take part can enjoy the surroundings at their own pace.
- Is there free time during the tour?Yes. While many experiences are shared with the group, the itinerary also includes periods of free time so you can explore independently, relax, shop, or simply enjoy each destination at your leisure.
- What is included in the tour? The package includes selected accommodation, transport throughout the itinerary, guided visits, winery experiences, tastings, and meals as outlined in the program. Please refer to the detailed itinerary for a complete breakdown of inclusions.
- What is not included?International flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, tips, and any meals or activities not specifically mentioned in the itinerary are not included in the tour price.
- Can dietary requirements be accommodated?Yes. We can accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, and most dietary needs, provided we are informed in advance. Please share any requirements at the time of booking.
- What type of travelers join these tours? These journeys are designed for travellers who enjoy culture, heritage, authentic local experiences, gastronomy, and fine wine. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, making the tours ideal for solo travellers, couples, and groups of friends alike.
- What luggage should I bring? We recommend bringing one medium-sized suitcase per person along with a small carry-on bag. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, and we suggest casual-elegant clothing for evenings, as well as layered outfits suitable for changing weather conditions.
- Do I need travel insurance? Travel insurance is strongly recommended and should provide coverage for medical care, trip cancellation, and interruption protection.
