Madrid to Cordoba private tour - Itinerary

This 2-day private tour offers a comfortable and fascinating way to get to Cordoba from Madrid. Transportation on day 1 is through safe roads and highways in a private vehicle. Hotel pick-up in Madrid. You will discover amazing parts of Spain with friendly expert guides.

DAY 1 - Madrid – Toledo - La Mancha - Cordoba
Be picked up at around 08:30 from your hotel by your friendly local guide for your private tour to La Mancha and Andalusia. The first stop of the day will be to take in the spectacular views of the old city of Toledo, that was once the capital of Spain. You will visit the old Imperial City and enjoy two of Toledo’s most remarkable monuments with your English-speaking tour guide. Afterwards, you will make your way to La Mancha where you will enjoy a traditional high quality meal near the famous windmills of Don Quixote. After lunch you will have a guided visit of a local family-owned winery where you will learn about the wines of this wine region of Spain, also considered the largest vineyard of the world. You will be driven south to Ciudad Real where you will pick-up a train to Cordoba (1 hour train ride). We have selected a very special hotel for you tonight. You will be able to enjoy tapas in Cordoba´s jewish district (not icluded in the price)
DAY 2 – Cordoba - Madrid
After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your guide for a walk through the charming streets of Córdoba and a private visit to the Mosque, one of Spain´s top icons and a must-visit place. You will have more time to enjoy Cordoba and its white streets and moorish heritage before you take the train back to Madrid. We do not advertise the names of the wineries visited and prefer not to provide them to ensure we keep the exclusivity of the tour to its maximum for our customers. We only visited small, top wineries that fit perfectly well into the schedule for the day.  

  • Can I propose which wineries to visit? We understand you may love some wines and would like to visit the winery where they are produced. We are happy to listen to your preferences but please bear in mind that some wines are great, but the wineries not worth visiting. Please bear also in mind that some wineries do not accept visits or are not available on many days. Lastly, visiting certain wineries may imply a huge detour. The local team is expert in wine country and will ensure your tour includes the best possible experience to fit the itinerary
