The following is a sample itinerary for the day. The itinerary is subject to change depending on availability and schedule at the winery.

08:00 Hotel Pick-up
Pickup from your hotel or accomodation in Barcelona and departure towards Priorat´s wine region. In case your accomodation is not easily accesible by car our local team will provide you with the closes possible meeting point, always at a short walking distance.
Stop ·#1 Priorat wine country
During the comfortable drive (mostly in motorway) your expert sommelier will tell you about the different wine regions near Barcelona and the history of Priorat. Monks established in Priorat centuries ago and they did it for a good reason. At around 11:00 you will start your first winery visit. We select small family wineries whose wines are a good example of the wine making style of Priorat.
Stop #2 - Second winery
For your second winery visit we will select another interesting producer, with a different story and wines. Fantastic wines will be tasted at both wineries. If you opt for a 3rd winery you will enjoy tasting at a 3rd winery after having stopped at the second winery.
Stop #3 Lunch
High quality lunch at one of the beautiful villages in Priorat where you will enjoy the traditional catalan gastronomy of this area of Tarragona. If possible the lunch is organised at the premises of one of the wineries
Back to Barcelona (estimated arrival at around 17:30)
After lunch there will be time to enjoy the landscapes of Priorat and then to initiate the trip back to Barcelona. By the end of this day you will keep fantastic memories of one of the most fascinating wine regions in Europe, you will have tasted excellent wines and local food and enjoyed the company of local people that enjoy to share their passion for wine.

We do not advertise the names of the wineries visited and prefer not to provide them to ensure we keep the exclusivity of the tour to its maximum for our customers. We only visited small, top wineries that fit perfectly well into the schedule for the day.  

  • Can I propose which wineries to visit? We understand you may love some wines and would like to visit the winery where they are produced. We are happy to listen to your preferences but please bear in mind that some wines are great, but the wineries not worth visiting. Please bear also in mind that some wineries do not accept visits or are not available on many days. Lastly, visiting certain wineries may imply a huge detour. The local team is expert in the area and will ensure your tour includes amazing wineries.
